Piraeus. Our accommodation is a cosy building that consists of 20 apartments with many facilities such as A/C, TV, kitchenette, bathroom and balcony. During your stay in our cosy apartments, you can choose either to prepare your own meal in the fully equipped kitchenette (including refrigerator) and enjoy your meal at the balcony, or to stroll down to the nearby centre, where you can try the Greek cuisine in one of the many taverns in the village. Voula Apartments are only 200 m. away from the sandy beach but you can also have a swim in the nice pool and sunbath by the pool bar with a drink. Before going to sleep in the comfortable beds, refreshed by the ceiling fan, you can relax in our cosy garden and enjoy the moment...

TRANSPORTATION
Aegina is situated in the Saronic Gulf, 17 nautical miles south west of Piraeus. The island is easily accessible by either ferryboats or hydrofoils. You can reach Aghia Marina by Catamaran Boat named "HYDRA CAT" in 45 min. Moreover several ferries go to Aegina Town, as well as Flying Dolphin hydrofoils and a Fast Catamaran service. Timetables are displayed on the various Ticket Offices on the quay.

Shuttle bus
Leaving the arrivals hall, you will find bus E96, which takes you straight to the Port of Piraeus

When you leave the airport you can take a special shuttle bus E96 (24 hours service) to the Port of Piraeus. About every 15/ 20 minutes during the day and about every half hour at night. The bus stops several time on the way, the Piraeus harbor is the last stop.
The price of the ticket is € 2.90 and is valid for 24 hours. You may use this ticket on the bus, trolley bus or the metro. The trip will take from 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the traffic!

Taxi
You can also take a taxi from the airport to Piraeus. When leaving the airport, please make use of the taxi queue next to Door 3 of the Arrivals Level. Taking a taxi is mostly quicker than the bus and the price will be about
€ 25 - € 30.

Rent a car
You may also rent a car at the airport and drive to the Piraeus port. Have a look at www.easycar.com and check out their rates. The earlier you book the better the prices. To rent a car at the airport is a good option if you also plan to visit the Peloponnesus after or before you visit Aegina. There is a good boat connection between Methana (on the Peloponnesus) and Aegina.

To Aegina Town
From Piraeus there are several ferries to Aegina. There are ferries of Hellenic Seaways and the ferry Agios Nektarios which is a separate company. There are 2 Hydrofoil companies: Hellenic Seaways and Vassilopoulos. There is also a fast Catamaran service to Aegina.
Prices of tickets vary depending on the ferry you take. Agios Nektarios is the cheapest (single ticket 4 euro) and Hellenic Seaways is the most expensive (single ticket around 9 euros). You can find the exact timetables at the ticket offices at the quay, the entrance door of the ferry also displays the time the ferry will leave.

How to reach us by car Hotel Karyatides is only 12km. away from Aegina Town. You can always reach us from Aegina Town by bus in 30m. or car 20m. You can also reach Aghia Marina by Catamaran Boat named "HYDRA CAT" in 45 min. The hotel is only 200m. away from the small port of Aghia Marina on the left side
