Birmingham Central is a five minute walk from the Bull Ring and a three minute walk from the Digbeth Coach Station. Birminghams lively gay area called Hurst Street is a ten minute walk from our hostel.

Birmingham Central has dormitory style beds with 4-8 people per room. Each room has clean linen, a sink, a mirror, and most rooms have a shower. Please note that toilet facilities are shared.

We offer a fully-fitted kitchen for guests to use which includes: hob/oven, toaster, kettle and microwave. In the morning we provide a light breakfast of tea, coffee, toast, jams, and fruit in the downstairs kitchen.

We have a warm, spacious common room where guests can enjoy their meals, meet other guests, use free internet stations or wi-fi access, watch a movie on a large projection TV, play games, or get cosy by the fire and read a book from our library.

Birmingham Central Backpackers is located in Birmingham’s city centre.

From Digbeth Coach Station: Walk across the Digbeth High Street towards South Birmingham College. The street it is on is Milk Street. Walk down to the first street on the left, which is Coventry Street. We are on the corner of Coventry Street and Milk Street.

From New Street Station: Walk down New Street to the outdoor markets. Cross over onto the Digbeth High Street. Walk up four streets and take a left onto Milk Street. We are the on the corner of Milk Street and Coventry Street.
